In a powerful intersection of faith, education, and civic duty, I recently had the distinct honor of meeting brother Rich Weiss, the visionary and creator of The Tremonster newspaper, right here in our beautiful Cleveland, Ohio. Our paths crossed at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), where Rich serves as one of the instructors for the class I am currently taking to expand my academic and professional horizons.
For me, this introduction represents far more than a routine classroom interaction; it is a divinely ordered alignment of shared purpose, to build our communities. The foundational pillar of my life’s work and ministry is rooted deeply in the timeless truth of Psalm 133:1: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” I believe wholeheartedly in the power of community and unity, and this commitment perfectly mirrors the core mission of The Tremonster. Just as I strive to shepherd our community toward spiritual maturity and elevation with mutual support, Rick is actively working to keep our community informed, inspired, and deeply connected.
This spirit of collective elevation is precisely what inspired my new message series, “Breakthrough to Better.” This series focuses on empowering individuals and families to shatter old limitations, step into their divine potential, and build a stronger, more unified community. Real breakthrough never happens in isolation; it requires the kind of mutual support, shared knowledge, and encouragement that we are cultivating both in the classroom and through community platforms.
Beyond our shared dedication to public teaching and keeping the people informed, I want to express my profound appreciation for Rich’s outstanding personality and leadership. He is an exceptionally encouraging person and instructor whose uplifting spirit fosters an environment of true growth and empowerment for everyone in the classroom.
As a Christian minister, community advocate, and independent journalist myself, I recognize The Treemonster as an essential beacon of truth. When spiritual leadership and community-driven media unite under the banner of mutual encouragement and empowerment, our entire region is elevated.
This collaboration stands as a brilliant testament to what can be achieved when leaders combine their unique gifts to cultivate unity, spread knowledge, and strengthen the very fabric of our communities with examples of good leadership and godly community pride. Onward for the Tremonster.
