Everyone is invited to bring your pet(s) to the front steps of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ for a blessing. The short service will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 2:00 pm. If your pet does not play well with others, you may use a carrier or bring a picture of your pet. If your animal companion has passed away, feel free to bring a photo or just bring them in your heart. Animal blessings are commonly conducted in the month of October near St. Francis of Assisi feast day because of the way Francis cherished all God’s creatures.
