Sweet Peet Mulch company is donating several yards of mulch to Lincoln Park, and we’re recruiting volunteers to help us spread it on the garden areas. The date and time is June 8 at 9am at the gazebo. We’re asking people who have wheelbarrows and shovels to bring those, too. People can come for as long as they are able—a few minutes or an hour.

Looking towards the upcoming growing season, there are many things to be excited about at Holmden Hill Community Garden. 2017 brought several new gardeners who had a successful year growing their own vegetables. Everarbor to Lead Clean Up at Scranton-Brainard Garden on 7-23-17
Everarbor Company, Tremont’s outdoor lifestyle company, will lead a community volunteer garden clean up at the intersection of Scranton Road and Brainard Avenue on Sunday, July 23rd. Meet up at Everarbor Co. (2116 Brainard Ave) at 8:00 am and go to the Scranton-Brainard garden as a group, or join at the site to pitch in when you can.
