St. Wendelin Parish, on Columbus Road, will break ground on a new Parish Prayer Garden. The Garden sits behind the rectory and will include beautification of the entire property.
“This project began as a plan to make the rectory and the grounds more accessible, beautiful and more available to the community and our parish,” said Fr. Robert Kropac, pastor of St. Wendelin Parish.
The Parish Prayer Garden will be open to all parishioners and to the community as well. It will include a walking prayer labyrinth, benches, a bike rack, and new foliage. A prayer labyrinth was once painted on the back church parking lot.
Since the church’s re-opening in 2012, St. Wendelin Parish has seen growth, both in the neighborhood and in the pews. St. Wendelin Parish is a welcoming Catholic parish, serving the city and it’s neighborhoods.
