Santiago $10 per Puerto Rican Dinner Fundraiser

Jim Santiago held a $10 Puerto Rican dinner fundraiser after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7.  His daughter is going to Europe, so this entrepreneurial Tremonster rolled up his sleeves and threw a Puerto Rican cookout party for his neighbors in the W 14th Street & Bhurer Avenue area in support of the trip.

Santiago charged $10 per person for a share of two large outdoor grills worth of his “West Side Barbeque,” which attracted many customers with an irresistible aroma that filled the streets of Tremont’s lower east side after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
