Military Experience:
- Captain in the US Army for 29 years, currently in (IRR)
- Served as Unit Company Commander for a Transportation Unit
- Deployed to Djibouti and Kenya in 2008, Iraq in 2005
- Also served in Guatemala and Germany
- Human Resource Supervisor at Fort Dix, New Jersey
Law Enforcement Experience:
- Volunteered as an Auxiliary Police Office, City of East Cleveland, from 1998-2008
Professional Experience
- Heavy Duty Mechanic for City of Cleveland, 24 years
- Public School Food Truck Delivery Driver, Cleveland Board of Education, 2 years
Education
- BS in Industrial Management from David Myers University
- Associate Degrees from Cuyahoga Community College in Applied Science-Mechanical Engineering and Law Enforcement
- Diplomas in Maintenance-Diesel and Automotive Engine Repair
Background
- Born and raised with 5 siblings by both parents in Lagos, Nigeria
- Came to the United States in 1981
- Father of four children and Cleveland resident for 33 years
