Tremont West Development Corporation and the Hispanic Business Center are excited to announce our 2014 Tremont Storefront Incubator Program participant is Cleveland’s very own Brewnuts. Shelley Fasulko and John Pippin are the co-owners of the already popular craft beer inspired donuts. They plan to open their incubator at 2406 Professor Avenue on Tuesday, April 29th. Their hours of operation in general will be Tuesday through Saturday, to be open for pick-ups several mornings a week and they plan to cater to the evening visitors and residents of the Tremont area during happy hour and well in to the evening hours.
The Brewnuts proposal to the program was very strong. They are recent graduates of the 2013 Fall Bad Girl Ventures class and are members of the Cleveland Culinary Launch and Kitchen where they will continue to prepare the donuts. They currently sell the Brewnuts at two locations in Cleveland and applied to the Tremont Storefront Incubator Program to test their market in having their very own storefront. Congratulations Shelley and John! Welcome to Tremont!
Through a RFP process Tremont West and the Hispanic Business Center intend not to compete with local property owners who are in need of tenants, but seek to feed those available spaces with viable businesses through this program. The Tremont Storefront Incubator is a ten month agreement with three months of free rent and seven months of below market rate rent for the 370 sf space.
