Transformed Monthly Arts Event Kicks Off Friday

The second Friday evening of the month has always meant “ArtWalk in Tremont.” But beginning this Friday, the now-renamed event will reach new pinnacles of creativity.

“Walkabout Tremont” kicks off this Friday, May 13, at 6:00 PM with extended hours at art galleries and retail shops. Walkabout also will feature pop-up tents staffed by artists from within and outside Tremont. In addition, visitors will enjoy street entertainment, live music, restaurant and bar specials, open churches, local history displays and the opportunity to take several neighborhood audio tours.
