“The best walks in Tremont,” said Sherman Delozier, owner of The South Side in Tremont, as he cleared the snow from the sidewalk in front of his restaurant.

Thursday morning, Tremonsters woke up to find eight to 12 inches of lake effect snow coating the neighborhood.  Residents and business owners dug themselves out of driveways and sidewalks, enduring wind chills that dipped well below zero.

“I love this season,” Delozier added, sincerely.

I am worried about our children because they are developing fatty liver disease at an incredible rate, and fatty liver disease is entirely preventable.  I encourage you all to help foster a culture of healthy living, healthy eating and physical activity, and set examples for your children.

As a gastroenterologist and a liver specialist I see a lot of children with liver diseases and I would just like my audience to know that, unfortunately, we are seeing a lot of fatty liver disease in children nowadays something that was almost unheard of, say, 20 years ago. Continue reading

Illuminating Company Tremont Customer to go without Power for 24 Hours

Shanetta (Dorsey) Trundle reports she and the other tenants in her Tremont building on W 11th Street were told the earliest they can expect the Illuminating Company to restore power is 10:00 pm. Cleveland Public Power customers on her street have all had power restored.
